Author: Dr. Albert Bartlett Dr. Al Bartlett is a retired professor of physics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Bartlett earned his B.A. in physics from Colgate University and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in physics from Harvard University. In 1978 he was national president of the American Association of Physics Teachers. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He is a founding member of PLAN-Boulder County, an environmental group for the City and County. He writes and lectures on issues of sustainability, examining the widespread misuse of the term and examines the conditions that are necessary and sufficient for a sustainable society. Professor Bartlett is a member of the Minnesota Sustainable Communities
Network (MNSCN). |
