Energy:  Natural Gas

Worldwide supplies of conventional natural gas are becoming an issue. The initial issue is of location, proximity to consumers; the second, is the growing demand/supply imbalance.

Scientists conclude that the North American natural gas situation is critical: supply is in decline.

Non-conventional sources –including LNG, require significant quantities of energy in order to provide consumer energy, are frequently difficult and costly to obtain, and may involve difficult environmental tradeoffs.
