NOPC and the Sierra Club

In 1997 the Sierra Club expressed concerns regarding the establishment of NOPC (and of USS3P).

This section contains three responses to the Club: M. Boyd Wilcox, founder of NOPC and two members of the Sierra Club, Dell Erickson and Ted Toal .

The  three responders conclude that the Sierra Club appears to misunderstand and mischaracterize NOPC and that the objectives and process of NOPC are consistent with those of the Sierra Club and mutually beneficial. Mr. Erickson appears to agree and expands on these themes by discussing the underlying changes at the Sierra Club which lead to the apparent conflict.
